Turn Your 3D Scans into Precision CAD Models
We provide 3D CAD modeling solutions from point cloud data using specialized software to create accurate and detailed models.
We can do the scanning for you, or work with your scan data.
We work with a variety of point cloud and mesh formats and sources, such as LiDAR 3D scans, Handheld structured light, or photogrammetry data.
This is particularly useful in the marine industry, architecture, engineering, construction, or product design.
We are dedicated to providing you with high-quality 3D models that are tailored to your unique needs and requirements.
Or.. we can teach you how to create 3D models using your own 3D scanner ! Revopoint, Shining3D, Creaform, Artec etc
Fast. Flexible. Fully compatible with your workflow
3D Scanning
The 3D scanning process
Tripod Mounted Scanners
Scanning is done using either a high accuracy tripod-mounted scanner or a hand- held scanner, that is moved around the object being scanned.
The multiple single scans that are recorded are then stitched together to form a single, highly accurate "Pointcloud" or Mesh. The point cloud or mesh is a set of data points in a 3D coordinate system that represent the shape and surface of an object that has been scanned .
Handheld Scanners
Handheld 3D scanners provide mobility and speed for smaller objects in very high detail and full colour. Capture detailed, colour-rich 3D data using your favorite handheld scanner.
3D Modelling
The 3D Modelling process
The 3D model is created by importing the point cloud into Rhino 3D NURBS modeling software, one of the few CAD software packages that supports point cloud processing.
We then use the software's surface reconstruction tools to creating additional surfaces or shapes to complete the final 3D model.
Once the model is complete, export it in a format that can be used by your 3D CAD , modeling or 3D CNC / 3D printing software.
